The VEROBOARD VBD-CH-RF1 Deep Recessed Linear Aluminum LED Channel is a popular solution for creating a flush mount installation of LED strips. This channel is designed to prevent visible spots from the LEDs and provide a sleek surface finish. The aluminum channel is available in both silver grey and black finishes and measures 1000mm x 17mm x 15mm (39.3in x 0.66in x 0.59in).

The VBD-CH-RF1 channel comes with a frosted polycarbonate diffuser, which helps reduce light glare and provides protection from dust, avoiding any kind of damage to the LEDs. It includes end caps with and without holes, as well as mounting brackets with mounting screws, making it easy to install. Additional accessories like end caps and mounting clips are available for purchase separately.

This channel can be cut to size using a regular hack saw and mounted using 3M double-sided tape, directly screwed or grooved into the mounting surface, or mounted using the included mounting clips. It is applicable for a variety of applications such as cabinets, shelves, closets, staircase lighting, ceiling lighting, shower doors, windows, accent lighting, and decorative lighting.

The VBD-CH-RF1 channel acts as a heat sink for the LED strip installed in it, increasing the lifetime of the LEDs. The channel helps in reducing light glare and provides uniform light, as the strip light is 12 mm away from the diffuser, avoiding the visibility of the dots from the LEDs. The material is corrosion-free and can be used for outdoor purposes with waterproof strip lights (IP 66 and higher rating), provided that the end caps are sealed with silicon to avoid water.
